Abstract

Using 3D finite-difference time-domain simulations, we designed nanostructured Tungsten absorber and emitter for solar thermophotovoltaics applications. The absorber exhibits unity absorptivity over the solar bandwidth, emitter has unity emissivity at 1.1eV, corresponding to Si bandgap.
