Abstract

The nonlinear transmission performance of reduced guard interval OFDM and quasi-Nyquist-WDM (PDM-QPSK, PDM-QAM-8 and PDM-QAM-16) with high information spectral densities is compared over ULAF and SMF, both by simulations and analytically.
