Enhanced Multijunction Cell and System Conversion Efficiency through Heterogeneous Microsystem Integration Techniques

Abstract

We report on unique heterogeneous multijunction solar cell structures being created with advanced micro- and nano-system technologies with the potential for enhanced efficiency by removing or reducing losses present in traditional monolithic multijunction solar cells.
