Polishing with a vortex: a decade in hydrodynamic radial polishing

Abstract

We present a review of ten years of polishing with HyDRa, a deterministic polishing tool based on radial expulsion hydrodynamics. This system has reached maturity and has proven its ability to polish complex free-form surfaces.
