432 Gb/s Direct-Detection Optical OFDM Superchannel Transmission Over 3,040 km SSMF

Abstract

We propose a novel multiple pilot-carriers assisted DDO-OFDM superchannel transmission scheme. A 432 Gb/s DDO-OFDM superchannel transmission has been successfully demonstrated over 3,040 km SSMF.
