Mid-infrared frequency comb generation in integrated photonic waveguides

Abstract

We demonstrate mid-infrared frequency comb generation via optical parametric amplification in lithium niobate and silicon-nitride waveguides, tunable from 3.5—5 µm and 2.5—3.5 µm, respectively.
