Chipscale Microresonator-based Frequency Combs using Soliton Cherenkov Radiation

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

We review the generation of coherent frequency combs using dissipative Kerr solitons in integrated silicon nitride microresonators. We observe effects of soliton Cherenkov radiation and the Raman effect and demonstrate frequency stabilization of the spectrum.
