Abstract

We report active mode-locking of a continuous-wave singly-resonant optical parametric oscillator in the mid-infrared, based on MgO:PPLN and pumped at 1064nm, generating 236ps pulses at 80MHz. Studies of pulse duration, spectrum and mode-locking stability are performed.
