Ring opening of 1, 3-cyclohexadiene probed by time-resolved optical and x-ray fragmentation

Abstract

We used time-resolved fragmentation initiated by strong-field optical laser and short x-ray pulses to probe ring opening of 1, 3-cyclohexadiene. We will discuss these complementary techniques and their potential for probing and controlling dynamics.
