Atom Interferometry with a Weakly Interacting Bose Einstein Condensate

Abstract

We demonstrate trapped atom interferometry with a weakly interacting Bose Einstein condensate. Atomic scattering length is tuned almost to zero by means of a broad magnetic Feshbach resonance and interaction induced decoherence results strongly suppressed.
