Investigation of Multiphase Flow Physics Using Synchrotron-Based X-Ray Radiography and Fluorescence

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

X-ray radiography and fluorescence are used to track mass distribution in the near-field mixing zone of liquid-liquid and liquid-gas spray systems. This enables detailed investigation of parameters affecting multiphase mixing processes under optically complex conditions.
