Abstract
We demonstrate the feasibility of retrieving the reflectance spectra from hyperspectral imagery at speeds comparable to atmospheric correction schemes, by using a fast radiative transfer code, based on empirical orthogonal functions, including an accurate treatment of scattering, in conjunction with a 1D-Var retrieval scheme.
