Abstract

Silicon waveguide resonator with quality factorQ~4x105 is demonstrated at wavelength λ=3.655um. The resonator is composed of µm long silicon cavities and pairs of Bragg grating arrays and shows potential for use in integrated mid-infrared chemical sensing for lab-on-a-chip applications.
