Trace Gas Detection Using a MEMS-Based Portable Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometer

Abstract

A portable Fourier transform infrared spectrometer has been developed based on a piston-scanning MEMS mirror. It is successfully applied for gas detection and a low gas concentration down to 100 ppm has been detected.
