Dispersion Control in Silicon Oxide Wedge Microdisks

Abstract

We demonstrate the generation of optical frequency combs by engineering the dispersion of a small radius (100 microns) thin wedge microcavity. The phase-matching of the excitation taper is also employed to inhibit avoided-crossings.
