Self-optimization and oscillation state mapping of polarization additive pulse mode-locked fiber laser

Abstract

With motorized polarization controllers and online monitoring we map the oscillation states of additive pulse mode-locked fiber lasers. These fingerprint-like maps allow to optimize a given fiber laser configuration and to implement self-optimization schemes.
