Method for Spectral Interrogation of the Fiber Bragg Gratings Using a Tunable Narrowband Light Source

Abstract

We present results of the research work of low-cost interrogation system investigating for fiber Bragg grating sensor using 1550nm VCSEL. Interrogation principles are based on VCSEL operating principle and minimize additional optical and electronic components.
