Dynamic optical tuning of an on-chip RF photonic delay line

Abstract

Dynamic optical tuning of a Si3N4 ring resonator RF photonic delay line is experimentally demonstrated. Tunable delay and advancement of microwave pulses were achieved solely by controlling the power of an additional out-of-phase optical signal.
