Abstract
A new technique of pseudocolor encoding of spatial filtered holographic imaging is introduced. The encoding takes place at the spatial frequency plane, and a multiwavelength rainbow holographic process is used. This technique provides a simple encoding procedure and offers a wide range of pseudocolor holographic images. The possible applications of this technique range from pseudocolor coding of aerial photography to x-ray transparencies. Because of the white-light-readout rainbow process, this technique provides a better and more natural pseudocolor image.
