Abstract

This paper discusses how to separate the functions of the angular measures and the supporting structures in order to enhance the accuracy of large-scale goniometric devices. Measurement modules are presented that make it possible to construct chains for accurately transmitting arbitrary angle coordinates when the modules are arranged on the supporting structures with indeterminate geometry.
