Open Access Open Access

Abstract

Corrections to errors in our published paper [J. Opt. Soc. Am. B 32, 1575 (2015 [CrossRef]  ] are given.

A number of errors were noted in [1]; they should be corrected as follows:

In Table 2, bottom, 0.975/2 in the third row and fourth column should be 0.825/2. An additional footnote should be added to this table: Bottom, the values in the fifth row and second column, and in the third row and fifth column, are set to zero because the associated absorption/excitation is forbidden; i.e., for these pathways, αFf in Eq. (19b) and AFf in Eq. (19c) are zero.

In Table 5, top and bottom, the quantum numbers that label the rows (f,f) are out of order. The correct order from top to bottom should be (2, 2), (2, 1), (1, 2), and (1, 1). Please note that the order of rows and columns in Table 5 is different from that in Tables 1 and 2.

In Eqs. (4a) and (4b), m should be me. In Eqs. (B3) and (B7), all ωL should be ωB. In Eq. (B4), the left 3-j coefficient, “μ,” should be “m.” In the second line of Eq. (B7c), a multiplication sign (x) should be added to the left, and the factor 9/4 should be 9/4π.

On p. 1581, [28] and [29], respectively, should be [31] and [32]. On p. 1590, line 6, left column, e^b should be e^b.
