Abstract
Multidimensional scaling of subjective similarity estimates for colors varying extensively in Munsell hue, value, and chroma produced a configuration that concurred with the postulated organization of Munsell color space, and indicated step-size relationships between attributes. Implications for the determination of color difference are discussed.
