Abstract
A reflection densitometer designed primarily for research and product control on photographic printing papers is described in detail. It can be used also in connection with photomechanical half-tone reproduction work. Simplicity of design and relatively low cost of construction is combined with precision ample for all practical purposes. The paper concludes with a short description of factors influencing the measurement of reflection density.
