Abstract
The integrated band intensities for several of the CO2 combination bands in the 1–2-μ region have been obtained using the method of self-broadening. Measurements were made for pressures ranging from 10–50 atm, path lengths from 0.44–100 cm, and effective spectral bandwidths from 1–2 cm−1. The reported band intensities are A(20°1) = 0.33 ± 0.02, A(12°1) = 1.01 ± 0.05, A(04°1) = 0.22 ± 0.01, A(30°1) = 16.1 × 10−4, A(22°1) = (132 ± 7) × 10−4, A(14°1) = (131 ± 7) × 10−4, A(06°1) = 14.5 × 10−4; A (00°3) = 0.046 ± 0.002 in units of cm−2 atm−1 at 273°K. Values refer to normal composition CO2 and include contributions from the weak underlying bands.
