Abstract
An experiment to measure earth radiance and reflectivity is described. The primary purpose was to determine the minimum effective radiance levels that could be anticipated for horizon sensors employing silicon detectors. The data and results are discussed in terms of minimum radiance levels, limb brightening, and some spectral characteristics.
