Abstract
The anisotropy of piezo- and elasto-optic effects in calcium tungstate crystals was studied by the indicatory surfaces method. On the basis of the maximum surfaces of the elasto-optic effect, the geometry of acousto-optic interaction with maximum efficiency was found.
