Abstract
An optical fiber interferometer has been developed that uses a bundle of fibers with a single light source and an image detector. The exit ends of the fibers are arranged so that the spatial frequencies of elementary Young fringes are separated from one another. The interferometer has been applied to a temperature sensor that detects the temperature change at four points simultaneously to determine the thermal conductivity of solid materials.
