Abstract

This paper analyzes existing ultrawide-angle objectives (angular field about 180°) for static devices for the orientation of spacecraft toward the sun and with respect to the earth and formulates the requirements on the objectives for such high-accuracy devices. The design features of these objectives are considered. Layouts for four-lens objectives that have been developed are presented and analyzed.
