Abstract
The Zeeman effect in the three known multipole lines of Te i (4309, 5420, and 7909 Å) was studied with apparatus of high resolving power and magnetic fields up to 5500 G. In addition to these lines, a new line 9468 Å (1D2−3P2) was found. g-values were determined for all levels of the ground configuration of Te i (5s25p4) and are equal 1.040, 1.495, and 1.472 for the 1D2, 3P1, and 3P2 levels, respectively. The results are compared with theoretically expected values.
