Abstract
We present a theoretical model of Yb$^{3 + }$-Er$^{3 + }$-Tm$^{3 + }$-co-doped system for white light generation. The energy level,
electron transition process and numerical model are proposed to calculate
fluorescence intensity of the system pumped by 980 nm laser. The numerical
results reveal that our theoretical model is in good agreement with
experimental results in literature. Optimal active ion concentrations are
proposed to enable the system to emit red, blue and green lights which are
mixed to generate white light in telluride matrix for display and lighting
system.
