Abstract
A time-integrating multichannel spectroradiometer has been designed and constructed primarily to provide an accurate means for measuring the relative spectral energy output of flash lamps. The energy from the flash lamp is collected in an integrating sphere and is presented to an array of narrow-band, interference-type filters covering the region from 360 mμ to 680 mμ in 20-mμ increments. Phototubes behind the filters receive the radiant energy and conduct current to capacitors which act as integrators. The voltage stored in each capacitor is read by an electrometer. This voltage is proportional to the amount of energy at the particular wavelength received by the phototube. Pictures and schematics of the apparatus are shown and the components are discussed.
