Abstract
The properties of two-mirror Fabry-Perot interferometers can be improved by adding one or more partially reflecting mirrors. In this paper we show how three-mirror Fabry-Perot interferometers provide better control on the shape of the transmission band, the bandwidth, and the suppression of sidebands. We present measurements on three-mirror Fabry-Perot interferometers in the submillimeter wavelength region for λ = 0.64 mm.
