Abstract
High sensitivity height and phase contouring is achieved by the superposition of a wave front with its complex conjugate. Phase conjugation is obtained by reconstruction of Fourier transform holograms with the help of various optical systems. The mathematical procedure uses a novel operator algebra that simplifies calculations.
