Long-Gauge FBG Array for High Performance Quasi-Distributed Sensing

Abstract

We propose a manufacturing method for a long-gauge FBG array utilizing writing-thorough coating technology using an automated reel-to-reel process that enables Bragg wavelength control in each FBG unit and precise control of the concatenation point.
