Suppression of temperature-dependent spectral power fluctuations in multimode FBG

Abstract

We show that the temperature-dependent spectral power fluctuations in multimode fiber Bragg gratings (FBGs) can be mitigated by use of a reflectometric configuration with suppressed modal interference, leading to higher-stability temperature sensing.
