Thermal response characterization of different optical fibers samples at cryogenic temperatures

Abstract

The thermal responses at cryogenic temperatures (5-300 K) of optical fibers with four different coatings are experimentally measured by means of optical frequency domain reflectometry. An estimate of the sensitivities of the different fibers is reported.
