Enhanced thermal stability of soliton states in coupled Kerr microresonators

Abstract

We present an analysis of soliton stability in coupled silicon nitride (Si3N4) microresonators. We observe an increase in main resonator soliton lifetime corresponding to the proximity of auxiliary resonator modes to optical comb frequencies.
