Abstract
The process of coherent optical vortex beams propagation and their transformation in anisotropic media is studied. Imbedded optical vortex in such case imputes structural disturbance to the phase and intensity distribution of light after anisotropic media, which implies tangential shift between polarization components of output beam and stimulates appearance of topological pairs in vicinity of beam axis. The dynamics of vortex behavior appears due to the crystal’s anisotropic response and makes possible to analyze thin structure of anisotropic threads and to control singular beam parameters, which can find application in devices for optical sensing and optical manipulation.
