X-ray Light Sources driven by laser-plasma acceleration for high energy density science applications

Abstract

We present recent experimental developments of x-ray sources based on laser-wakefield acceleration of electrons with high-intensity lasers. They are developed for applications including non-destructive imaging and high energy density science at mid- and large-scale laser facilities.
