Abstract
Bloch Oscillations (BOs) manifest themselves as the periodic spreading and re-localization of a particle wave function, when traversing lattice potentials subject to external gradient forces. Surprisingly, even though BOs are rooted into the very foundations of quantum mechanics, all experimental observations have so far analysed the dynamics of separable local states. In order to provide a broader description of the phenomenon, we experimentally investigate BOs of two-photon nonlocal (EPR) states [1], defined as:
