Abstract
Mid-infrared (mid-IR) frequency combs in the 3–5-µm region are promising sources for dual-comb [1] and Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy [2], with the principal application focus being vibrational molecular spectroscopy in this region. While OPO frequency combs bracketing a wide spectral region have previously been reported [3], these systems have not demonstrated complete wavelength flexibility. Here we introduce a fully-stabilized mid-IR OPO frequency comb with a broadly-tunable output spanning 1.95 – 4.0 µm.
