Abstract
We demonstrate frequency conversion in the mid-IR using periodically poled lithium niobate thin-film ridge waveguides on sapphire. These devices are characterized by measuring both the wavelength tuning and transfer functions vs. poling period for second-harmonic and difference-frequency generation. ∗These authors contributed equally to this work.
