Abstract

We demonstrate that mono-crystalline TiO2 micro-spheres exhibit narrow magnetic dipole resonances at terahertz frequencies with line splitting due to strong material anisotropy of TiO2. Clear resonance signatures are detected using near-field terahertz time-domain spectroscopy.
