New Applications and Devices for Quantum Frequency Conversion

Abstract

We review recent experiments demonstrating quantum frequency conversion (QFC) of single photon states of light and discuss perspectives for combining QFC with temporal wavepacket shaping. Progress in developing nanophotonic geometries for QFC is also presented.
