Abstract
Transcranial visualization of cerebral blood flow microcirculation provides valuable information about the brain vascular bed and its functionality. The laser-based speckle contrast imaging technique is used extensively for non-invasive, real-time mapping of cerebral haemodynamics in rodent models [1,2]. We present the results of combined use of diffuse correlation spectroscopy and laser speckle contrast imaging for transcranial visualization of the vascular bed and an assessment of blood flow microcirculation.
