Abstract
Noble metal nanostructures have been fabricated through a manufacturing process based on secondary electron lithography [1]. This technique offers the possibility of defining hollow structures with dimensions ranging from hundreds of nm (visible range) up to few tenths of µm (mid-infrared) with high spatial control on the structure positioning, leading to a fine tuning of their spectral properties.
