Abstract
We investigate a hybrid nanomechanical system in the form of a nanowire hybridized to a single NV defect attached to its extremity (Fig. 1. a and b). The mechanical vibrations of the nanoresonator grant a spatial degree of freedom to the single quantum emitter and the photon emission event can now vary in space and time [1]. Furthermore, the photon detection is modulated as the source travels through the detection volume.
