Methods, formats, and technologies for the reproduction of stereoscopic video images

Abstract

This paper presents a brief review and classification of approaches to the creation of systems for reproducing three-dimensional images on the basis of the principles of stereoscopy. The paper is mainly focused on questions of determining the objects and attributes of the classification, because of the large number of different treatments of the same concepts encountered in the literature.
