Spectra of Sn xx–Sn xxii in the extreme ultraviolet

Abstract

The spectrum of highly ionized Sn in the 20–85-Å region is analyzed. Some of the principal transitions in Sn xx–Sn xxii are identified by using isoelectronic extrapolations and computed transition energies. The spectra were excited under laser irradiation of thick solid targets placed in a vacuum.
