+3 fit is not directly comparable with the free atom fits because it is based on 73 crystal levels arising from only 23
SLJ levels. The crystal splitting, however, is small and the four parameters which describe it are very well determined, and hence the remaining parameters should yield the ion level centers (without crystal splitting).
